Indianapolis, Indiana
Indy is poised for a blockbuster 2024 with a line-up of mega events putting Indy on the national stage. Indy plays host city to the NBA All-Star Weekend with slam dunk, three-point and skills competitions, while debuting new large-scale art installations across the city, nightly parties and a new $30-million downtown Bicentennial Unity Plaza. Come April 8, 2024, Indy will also be in the path of totality for the solar eclipse. With weekend-long, citywide activations, Indy is prepared to celebrate complete darkness at 3:06 p.m. when the sun, the earth and the moon overlap, a phenomenon that will not be experienced again until 2044. These events coupled with US Olympic Swimming Trials, three-nights of Taylor Swift, NCAA First and Second Rounds, and the world’s largest single-day sporting event, the Indy 500, make for a massive year in Indianapolis.
Not to mention, there’s $1.7 billion in new tourism infrastructure underway.
